The madcap antics of four cute boys -- Davy, Peter, Micky and Mike -- who make up the rock 'n' roll band the Monkees are captured in this freewheeling 1960s series. It employs all sorts of stylistic tricks, including film-speed changes and cutting one-liners as the boys travel around making the world a happier place.

All 25 of those episodes are compiled on this box set. Among the popular songs that were used throughout this season are "Pleasant Valley Sunday," "I'm a Believer," and "Daydream Believer."
