Where to Find Us
Orbit DVD sits at 781 Haywood Road in West Asheville, between Westville Pub (777 Haywood) and Beauty Parade (783 Haywood) in the historic Bledsoe building. Directly across the street from Universal Joint and The Brew Pump.
From Interstate 40
Take Exit 47 (NC 191 / Brevard Rd) toward West Asheville. Turn north on Brevard Rd (away from the Outlet Mall), go about a mile, pass over I‑240, then left at the first light onto Haywood Rd. Orbit DVD will be on your left as you head towards Highway 74 (Patton Avenue).
From Interstate 240
Use Exit 2 (Haywood Rd / West Asheville). At the end of the ramp, turn onto Haywood Rd (right if you were heading east, left if you were heading west) and stay on it for about half a mile.
From Downtown Asheville
Drive west on Patton Ave across the French Broad River. Keep left to stay on Patton. Continue to travel West for 2 miles, then turn left at the Patton Avenue/Haywood Road Intersection. Travel for about 1 mile southeast along Haywood Road. Orbit DVD will be on your right.
From the Biltmore Estate
Exit the estate, turn right (north) on Hendersonville Rd / US 25, and follow signs onto I‑40 W. Take Exit 47, head north on Brevard Rd, then left onto Haywood Rd at the first light. Orbit DVD pops up a block later on the right.

Orbit DVD is located at 781 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806, in the center of West Asheville’s vibrant shopping and dining district. Free parking is available behind the store. The signs can be subtle, so we recommend circling around to the back lot.

We are open Thursday through Monday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
We are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

A lifelong film fan, Marc created Orbit DVD to bring Asheville a diverse and curated selection of movies and games that big-box stores never could. And our team shares that passion for physical media and cinema.

Our inventory includes boutique Blu-rays and 4K UHDs from top labels such as Criterion, Arrow, Vinegar Syndrome, Severin, and Kino Lorber. We also stock imported and region-free films, limited editions, out-of-print titles, and rare collector editions. In addition to movies, we carry retro video games, consoles, accessories, books, toys, and other collectible items. Our selection changes regularly, making every visit a new experience.
