Mail-In Video Game Trades

Orbit Games accepts mail-in trades for eligible video games, handheld games, accessories, and select retro gaming items. We offer cash or store credit for approved trades.

A valid government-issued ID is required for all trade-ins.

Please note: Orbit Games does not accept consoles through mail-in trades. Console trades are in-store only.

How Mail-In Trades Work

  1. Take clear photos of your items. Include front, back, spine, label, disc, cartridge, box, and accessory photos when applicable.
  2. Note any condition issues. Tell us about missing manuals, missing inserts, damaged cases, box wear, scratches, stickers, writing, corrosion, smoke damage, or anything else we should know.
  3. Submit your trade request. Send your photos and item details through the trade form.
  4. Wait for an appraisal. Our team will review your submission and respond with a cash or store credit offer within a few business days.

Video Games

  • Modern video games for most major platforms
  • Rare, uncommon, and collectible video games
  • Import-only and region-exclusive games
  • Disc-based retro games in clean, working condition

Handheld Games and Systems

  • Handheld video games
  • Handheld gaming systems
  • Handheld accessories in clean, working condition

Retro Games and Accessories

  • Nintendo 64 games and accessories
  • Boxed or Complete in Box NES games
  • Boxed or Complete in Box SNES games
  • Select retro gaming items and accessories

Controllers and Accessories

  • Clean, working first-party controllers
  • Clean, working gaming accessories
  • Select specialty controllers and uncommon accessories

Items We Do Not Accept by Mail

Consoles

We do not accept any consoles through mail-in trades. Console trades are in-store only.

Dirty, Damaged, or Non-Working Items

  • Dirty games, consoles, controllers, or accessories
  • Non-working or heavily damaged items
  • Items with corrosion, smoke damage, water damage, or missing major components
  • Games with severe disc damage, cracked cartridges, or unreadable labels

Low-Demand or Unsupported Items

  • Xbox 360 Kinect sensors
  • Xbox One Kinect sensors
  • Kinect games
  • Plug-and-play third-party consoles
  • Most Atari consoles and games
  • Most Sega Genesis consoles, games, and accessories
  • Most common Xbox One and Xbox Series games

Loose or Incomplete Retro Games

  • Loose NES games
  • Loose SNES games
  • Retro games missing required packaging, manuals, or major components

Oversized Collector Items

  • Large collector’s edition statues
  • Oversized collector’s edition sets
  • Large display pieces or bulky collectibles

Console Trade-In Requirements

Console trades are accepted in store only. For full trade value, consoles must include a working first-party controller, power supply, and video cable. Incomplete console trades may be accepted in store at a reduced value.

If your item is not listed, submit clear photos and a short description. Our team will review it and let you know whether it qualifies.
