The Last Shark

REGION B

A quiet, restful summer in the lazy coastal town of Port Harbor is abruptly about to end.

Directed by Enzo G. Castellari
Starring James Franciscus, Vic Morrow, Micaela Pignatelli

Author Peter Benton (James Franciscus) finds his idyllic summer thrown into a tailspin when he learns of an angry
35 feet long great white shark is out for blood and targeting local swimmers at the nearby beach resort. The mayor doesn't seem to give a damn, so it's up to him and veteran shark hunter Ron Hamer (Vic Morrow) to put an end to the great white's bloody rampage.

Boasting some truly memorable and gory set pieces, especially one involving a helicopter, and a catchy and killer soundtrack merging the best of disco and the De Angelis brothers; THE LAST SHARK is an essential entry in the dubious Italian Sharksploitation sub-genre and directed by none other than celebrated Italian action maestro Enzo G. Castellari (The Inglorious Bastards, High Crime) this high seas eco-horror makes its UK Blu-ray debut loaded with brand new extra features in this much-treasured special edition!
