STREET TRASH (1987): Liquor store owner Ed finds several bottles labeled "Viper" in his basement and sells the supposedly cheap liquor as a bargain to the down-and-out squatters living in a nearby junkyard. While the deranged junkyard owner Bronson tries to get rid of his unwanted "tenants," like the two brothers Fred and Kevin, "Viper" turns out to be a deadly poison. The fast-acting toxin transforms its users into pools of slime... STREET TRASH (2024): In 2050, brutal clashes between the impoverished population and the police are a daily occurrence in Cape Town. Drug addict Ronald and his adopted daughter Alex stumble upon a conspiracy by Mayor Mostert. He wants to "cleanse" his metropolis of homeless people and use the corrosive poison gas "V" to do so. This gas is based on a liquid that, decades earlier, left only pools of slime in New York City. Together with numerous insurgents, Ronald and Alex take up the fight against the overwhelming government troops...
