Several gruesomely mutilated bodies are found in the sleepy little town of Tarker Mills, with no clues as to who the killer is. While the police are left in the dark, wheelchair-bound Marty begins to develop his own theory: Since the murders were committed during a full moon, the eleven-year-old suspects a real werewolf is behind the events. When no one believes him, the boy sets out to find the beast himself.
