In the aftermath of World War II, while the world is still devastated by the horrors of the Holocaust, Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Kelley (Oscar-winning Rami Malek), US Army psychiatrist is given an unprecedented assignment: assessing the sanity of Hermann Göring (Oscar winner Russell Crowe), the fame. igerated ex ex arm Right of Hitler, and other high Nazi hierarchs. At the same time, the Allies — led by Judge Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), face the titanic feat of establishing an international court, to make the Nazi regime answer for its crimes in the face of history. In the silence of the cells, Kelley engages in an intense psychological duel with Göring, a charismatic and manipulative man. From that clash emerges a question that still haunts the consciousness of the world today: were they executing orders, were they crazy… or just evil? The Nuremberg Trial opens on the stage of history, an event that forever changed history and humanity
