Michael Harlan is a car-obsessed high school senior who faces failing his science class if he cannot deliver a compelling final project. Left with no other options, Michael breaks into an abandoned military bunker looking for something he can pass off as a gadget. Instead, he uncovers a strange, glowing metallic device that was salvaged from a crashed UFO decades earlier.
Unaware of its true extraterrestrial origins, Michael brings the artifact to his school science lab. When he and his friend Vince accidentally plug it into a high-voltage outlet, the device activates, revealing itself to be a powerful space-time portal.


As the machine draws power from the local power grid, it begins ripping open the fabric of time. The high school is suddenly warped into a temporal vortex, blending the past, present, and future together. Michael, his nerdy classmate Ellie, and Vince must fight their way through a chaotic maze of a mutated high school campus. To shut down the device and save their town, they are forced to battle a surreal onslaught of ancient Roman gladiators, primitive cavemen, vicious post-apocalyptic mutants, and a massive, ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex.
