Returns and Refunds
Returns
Orbit DVD accepts return requests for eligible items within 14 calendar days after delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition in which they were received and, where applicable, include all original packaging, inserts, accessories, and proof of purchase.
Customers may reasonably inspect an item to determine its nature, characteristics, and function. Orbit DVD may reduce a refund if an item has been handled beyond what is necessary to perform that inspection.
Items being returned should be securely packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with adequate protective material, preferably the original shipping box. Customers are responsible for any damage caused by inadequate return packaging.
EU Right of Withdrawal
Customers residing in the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from an eligible purchase without giving a reason.
-
Orbit DVD must be notified within 14 calendar days, beginning the day after the customer, or a nominated recipient other than the carrier, receives the goods.
-
If an order is delivered in multiple shipments, the withdrawal period begins the day after the final item is delivered.
-
Calendar days include weekends and public holidays. If the final day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the deadline extends to the next business day where applicable.
-
After notifying Orbit DVD, customers must return the goods within 14 calendar days.
-
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
-
Orders may be cancelled until they have been fulfilled.
Starting a Return
Customers may request a return by:
-
Using Orbit DVD's self-service return portal, where available, or
-
Contacting Orbit DVD at webmail@orbitdvd.com.
Once a return is approved, Orbit DVD will provide return instructions. Returns sent without first initiating the return process may be refused.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If an item is defective, damaged, or the wrong item was received, customers should contact Orbit DVD as soon as possible after delivery.
Photos of the damaged item, shipping box, packaging, and shipping label may be requested to assist with the claim.
Where required by applicable law, defective or non-conforming goods may qualify for repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
Sealed Movies and Media
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed DVDs, Blu-rays, CDs, or other sealed audiovisual media once the factory seal has been removed.
Opened items are not eligible for return because of cosmetic issues that were visible while the item remained sealed.
Region Coding
Region coding is clearly disclosed on applicable product listings. Returns or refunds are not available solely because a customer ordered a title that is incompatible with their playback equipment when the region information was accurately disclosed.
Cosmetic Condition
Orbit DVD operates a retail store, not a warehouse. Slipcovers, cases, and box sets may show normal shelf wear, including light scuffs, minor creases, slight folds, or light corner wear. These minor cosmetic imperfections are not considered defects.
Exchanges
Orbit DVD does not offer direct exchanges. Customers wishing to exchange an item should complete the return process and place a new order.
Refunds
After a returned item is received and inspected, Orbit DVD will notify the customer whether the return has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Banks and payment providers may require additional time to process the refund.
For eligible EU withdrawals, refunds will be issued within the time required by applicable law. Orbit DVD may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods are received or proof of shipment has been provided, whichever occurs first.
