Over the weekend, Orbit DVD will update customer accounts and Back in Stock notifications as part of a website upgrade.
Existing customer information, order history, and notification data are being transferred into the updated systems ahead of Monday’s launch.
No action is necessary from any user.
Customer Accounts Update
Beginning Monday, June 15, Orbit DVD customer accounts will use Shopify’s updated login system.
Instead of logging in with an Orbit DVD password, customers will sign in using either:
- a secure verification code sent to their email address.
- Google Sign-In
Your account, order history, and associated information will remain connected to your email address.

Back in Stock Notification Migration
Starting Friday, June 12, the current Back in Stock notification button will be temporarily removed while notifications are transferred to a new provider.
During the weekend transition period, customers will not be able to add new notification requests. Existing notification data is being migrated into the updated system.
The new Back in Stock notification system is expected to return Monday alongside the updated customer accounts.
