But I'm a Cheerleader, directed by Jamie Babbit, is a satirical romantic comedy following Megan (Natasha Lyonne), a popular high school cheerleader whose parents send her to a conversion therapy camp run by the strict Mary Brown (Cathy Moriarty). While navigating the absurdly gender-stereotyped program alongside counselor Mike (RuPaul), Megan learns to accept her identity after unexpectedly falling in love with a fellow rebellious camper named Graham (Clea DuVall).
