Inexplicable events occur on June 19, 1987, when the Earth lands in conjunction with a mysterious comet: a soda machine throws cans at kids and instructors on a sports field; a parked truck with an aggressive mask over its radiator hits and runs over the driver in front of a service station... And it is precisely at this service station that all the characters in the film converge, witnessing, dismayed, the terrifying carousel of crazed trucks, traveling without drivers; the bursts of fire from a mysterious machine gun and other devilries that besiege them, until they manage to escape and save themselves while waiting for the disastrous conjunction of the Earth with the comet's tail to end.
