France, early 1970s. Lucie, a young girl who had disappeared a few months earlier, is found wandering on the road. While her physical state is alarming, the reasons behind her kidnapping remain mysterious. Traumatized and unable to speak, she is placed into a hospital where she befriends Anna, another young girl.
15 years later. A doorbell rings. The father of an ordinary family opens the door and finds himself facing Lucie, who is now an adult and armed with a rifle. Convinced she has found those responsible for her past suffering, she takes drastic action.
