A brutal series of murders shakes the residents of New York. All indications suggest that the ruthless killer is a police officer who strikes repeatedly at night, treacherously and with unusual brutality. The investigating officers are faced with a mystery, as there is not a single trace of the killer. Soon, panic breaks out in New York. At night, the population feels watched and pursued by the police. The main suspect is the young police officer Jack Forrest, who became entangled in the murders through unfortunate circumstances.
