Thus the Radleys commence a deadly game of blackmail in this fast-paced, paranoia-laced thriller directed by Don Chaffey (The Man Upstairs). They Can’t Hang Me (1955) – Billed as “a thrill-a-minute story behind today’s atomic headlines,” this Cold War drama follows a senior civil servant (André Morell) who, while awaiting execution for murder, offers to trade the identity of a master spy smuggling atomic secrets in exchange for his life. Directed by the valiant spine-tingler Val Guest (The Quatermass Xperiment).
