Maladonna and Malombra

In 1984 Bruno Gaburro directed two provocatively erotic dramas both starring Eurosleaze favorite Paola Senatore (Emmanuelle in America, Salon Kitty). In Maladonna Senatore stars as Maria, a bored and rich member of the 19th century bourgeoisie. She gets involved with Alessio (Daniel Stephan), who shows her other, more unusual ways of expressing love. Malombra is a gothic and romantic mystery about a young man named Marco (Stefano Alessandrini) who goes to stay with a strange uncle, whose wife Carlotta (Senatore) died some time ago. Marco soon witnesses strange sexual rituals by a red-headed woman who looks just like his dead aunt. Is Carlotta still alive, or returned as a randy ghost?
