Lincoln Hawk (Sylvester Stallone) is a trucker who earns extra money by competing in arm wrestling matches. He often thinks about his son Michael, whom he hasn't seen in years. When Michael's mother is dying, she asks Lincoln to spend time with Michael and to take him in if she dies. The boy, however, is not at all enthusiastic about this plan. Only when the two travel together to Las Vegas, where Lincoln intends to win the World Arm Wrestling Championship, do father and son slowly begin to reconcile...
