Former FBI agent David Rutherford is hired to find out the origin of the new flavor of ice cream "The Stuff". His investigations lead him to the remote town of Stader, near Virginia, where The Stuff was tested. At the same time, eight-year-old Jason finds out that The Stuff is taking on a life of its own in the fridge and is starting to move. The horrible truth comes out. The Stuff is a living parasite that nests inside the human body. If you eat too much of it, you become the walking dead. David and Jason, along with assistant Nicole, try to stop the parasite from spreading. A race against time begins as The Stuff spreads across the entire population...
