SUMMARY : Located on the edge of the ocean, the village of Nomen Tuum has all the makings of a heavenly place. There is a well there, the Fontaine du Cerf, at the bottom of which flows a spring with curative properties. But this place has also attracted succubi, demons with the appearance of beautiful women, seeking corrupted souls to deliver them to the God of Darkness. One of them, Kia, has set her sights on a pure soul: Marko, a former soldier who returned home after being injured and who lives modestly on a farm with his sister, Arndis. Kia seduces Marko, who quickly falls in love with the young woman, unaware of her true nature.

ABOUT THE FILM : Released confidentially in 1966 in a few French cinemas but completely unpublished in the rest of the world, Incubus remained invisible for a long time, following a flood which destroyed the original reels. Until 2001 when a copy was found at the Cinémathèque française, thus allowing the restoration of the film. Filmed in Esperanto, Incubus is an atypical work, quite close to the world of Ingmar Bergman (The Seventh Seal). William Shatner (The Intruder, The Horrible Invasion) finds here one of his finest roles in cinema. Le Chat qui Fume is proud to present to you, as a world exclusive, Incubus in all its original splendor.

BONUS :
• The cursed film, a look back at the story of Incubus
• Version 1.37 full frame.
