While covering his brother's paper route, recent high-school graduate Brian McNichols (Bernie Coulson) and his friend Larry Shoup (Corey Gunnestad) spot Al Dorn (G. Gordon Liddy), a drug smuggler who's presumed dead. The police do not believe their sighting is real, so Brian and Larry begin spying on Al, who's hiding out in the house of professor Hardwick (Michael Emil). With the help of the professor's student Julie Converse (Jill Schoelen), the duo tries to get a clear photo of Al as evidence.
