This mini zine was created to accompany a walk high up on the misty moors overlooking Todmorden, West Yorkshire. We organised a guided traverse along these enchanted moorlands and the folks who came along were treated to storytelling and stone bothering as we took in the vast landscapes overlooking the Calder Valley. Tales of witches, wizards, life, death and superstition span back hundreds of years. Much like a lot of old stories, elements change and evolve over time but we've tried to tell them the way we found them. We decided to make the zine available to all and not only that, we are planning more editions of Lore of The Land which will explore other mystical sites around the UK, so keep an eye out for those!
Illustrated throughout with accompanying photography of the area, this zine is a great starting point for those wanting to explore these lands, and it's also great for those who know the area but want to know more about the stories it tells.
Pick up a copy and head to the moors, but don't forget to keep your eye on the map, as it's easy to get pixie-led when the mist rolls in...
