Inspired by Frank and I, one of the most famous works of Victorian erotic literature, Lady Libertine invites us to follow the adventures of Frank, a young orphan taken in by a kind gentleman, but with somewhat strange tastes. Also, when he discovers that Frank is not Frank, but Frances, a young girl who disguised herself as a boy to be able to escape from a brothel, the impulses are quickly unleashed. Voyeurism, violence, sadism and masochism are on the program. Sophie Favier, who found her most memorable role in this film, produced by Playboy, in 1984, subsequently took legal action to have it never again distributed, but she was dismissed.
