Necromania: A Tale of Weird Love (DVD)

Following decades of low-quality bootleg copies, Fleshbot Films is presenting "Necromania" in a high-quality, remastered version for the first time in over thirty years. Filmed in less than three days for a budget of $7,000, "Necromania" (1971) (presented here in both its softcore and uncut versions) was one of the last films in the long, strange career of cult film auteur Ed Wood, the genius responsible for such classics as "Glen or Glenda?" and "Plan 9 from outer space" and whose life was depicted in a 1994 film by Tim Burton. When young couple Danny and Shirley visit the mysterious Madame Heles for help with their flagging sex life, they get more than they bargain for in a series of erotic lessons which include skulls, spells, and sex in a coffin.
