The latest production of Earl Carroll's legendary Broadway review has a particularly harsh critic, as death threats made to the leading lady (Kitty Carlisle) have been followed up by murders in the wings. It's up to the stage manager (Jack Oakie) and a gruff cop (Victor McLaglen) to give the killer the hook in this pre-Code whodunit laden with production numbers and barely dressed chorines.
