Naval officer John Robbins, convicted of murder, is banished to Absolom. The secret prison island is divided into two camps: On one side rule the evil Outsiders, led by the bloodthirsty Marek. On the other side live the Insiders, who want to live their meager existence as peacefully as possible. When Robbins steals the ultimate weapon from the Outsiders, he ignites a war between the camps. Although he finds refuge with the Insiders, there is only one thought that keeps him alive: escaping Absolom...
Director Martin Campbell (007 - Casino Royale, GoldenEye) and producer Gale Anne Hurd (Terminator, Aliens, The Walking Dead) created a life-and-death chase with spectacular images and handcrafted action.
