Stressed out by the custody battle, Yoshimi and her daughter finally find a small apartment in a cold tenement. At first they don't attach any great importance to the ominous, dark water stain on the ceiling - not yet!
As soon as he moves in, Yoshimi is haunted by nightmarish visions of meeting a young girl. Somehow these eerie signs seem to be related to the stain on the ceiling. With every slowly falling and threatening drop of water, the feeling of an inevitable catastrophe grows in the young mother.
